About Hetal Doshi
Hetal Doshi has been a practicing lawyer for nearly 20 years. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney for Colorado and later Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division, Hetal prosecuted monopolies, cartels, fraudsters, scammers, and corrupt public officials—and won.
Whether it was big corporate mergers that made groceries more expensive, colluders that raised the rent, monopolies that punished innovators and small businesses, or price fixers that kept wages and salaries down, Hetal has always put working families and honest businesses first.
For Hetal, this moment is personal. Hetal is a proud public servant raised by hardworking immigrants and an extended American community that instilled in her the values of hard work, fairness, and reinvesting in the American people.
That’s why Hetal is running for Colorado Attorney General: to make sure that streets are safe, the economy is fair, and that every Coloradan’s rights and dignity are respected.
About the Attorney General Position
An attorney general is the chief legal officer for a state or the nation, responsible for enforcing the law, representing the government in legal matters, and protecting the public interest—such as defending consumers, upholding civil rights, and prosecuting or overseeing major legal cases.

Service can take multiple forms. Sometimes, it’s structural and systemic, like some of my work at DOJ. Other times, it’s just showing up and helping out.

This weekend, my husband and I along with a few dear friends had the opportunity to support our community by serving dinner (during the Broncos playoff game!) at the @denverrescuemission. Thank you to Michael at DRM for educating us about the facility, your services, and the acute need in this moment.
It will not surprise you to hear that demand for shelter services has surged over the last 2 years as the cost of living has skyrocketed. Housing and health care are two major culprits. It was a powerful reminder of my “why”: I am running for Attorney General because I believe in the power of government to meet these challenges head on.
We served more than 400 hot meals that night. I am grateful for the warmth and generosity of the folks I had the chance to meet.
Btw, you could’ve heard a pin drop in that large cafeteria during overtime. It was moving to celebrate our Broncos’ big win together. And a powerful reminder that so many things about our community bind us together, even when others seek to divide us. less

I grew up in an immigrant family in the Deep South and lived about 80 miles from the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Alabama. For me, the civil rights movement wasn’t just a chapter in history - its landmarks and lessons were all around. Growing up in the cradle of the civil rights movement was formative to who I am and what I value.
It was inspiring to march in Denver’s Marade today and see so many Coloradans celebrate not just Dr. King’s legacy, but also a future where we finish the work he started. less
